At Bengal Tiger Security Pvt. Ltd., disciplinary action is intended to maintain discipline, safety, professionalism, and service quality. Any action should be proportionate to the misconduct and applied in accordance with company policy, the employee’s terms of employment, and applicable law.

Types of Disciplinary Action

  • Verbal Warning – For minor or first-time violations where corrective guidance is appropriate.
  • Written Warning – Formal documentation of misconduct or repeated minor violations.
  • Counselling & Corrective Training – Used where an employee needs guidance or improvement in conduct, performance, or procedures.
  • Show-Cause Notice – The employee may be asked to provide an explanation regarding an alleged violation.
  • Final Warning – Issued for serious or repeated violations where continued employment is at risk.
  • Suspension – Temporary removal from duty where permitted and appropriate, particularly while a serious matter is investigated.
  • Removal from Site / Reassignment – An employee may be withdrawn from a particular client site or assignment based on operational or disciplinary requirements.
  • Recovery for Proven Loss or Damage – Where legally permitted, appropriate recovery may be considered for established loss or damage caused by an employee.
  • Termination of Employment – May be considered for serious misconduct, repeated violations, or other grounds permitted by applicable law and employment terms.

Examples of Serious Misconduct

  • Theft, fraud, or dishonesty.
  • Violence, fighting, threats, or harassment.
  • Sleeping or abandoning a critical security post.
  • Serious negligence resulting in security or safety risks.
  • Falsifying attendance, reports, or official records.
  • Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
  • Serious insubordination or deliberate violation of security procedures.
  • Possession or use of unauthorized weapons or prohibited substances.
  • Repeated misconduct despite previous warnings.
